A graduate in political science, research and cultural mediation, Marie-Pier Pilote is passionate about performing arts. She has devoted her entire professional career to the promotion and presentation of Quebec arts. She has worked both in electroacoustic music as well as with alternative presentation venues. Arriving at RIDEAU in 2011, as Head of Member Services and Special Projects, her position led Marie-Pier to pilot several initiatives aimed at reinforcing the profession of the presenter. Interested in new digital technologies and aware of the importance of data, Marie-Pier understands that it is essential for presenters to acquire new innovative tools.  She actively engages the community to rethink how they do things in the digital era. As the Director of Projects and Digital Development, she is spearheading a shared digital data project for presenters in Quebec.
