In the last year, in addition to delivering a series of Wikidata workshops with La Cogency and Conseil québécois du théâtre, CAPACOA invited arts organizations to participate in digital discoverability activities. We collected basic information about organizations, which we then populated in Wikidata and in the Artstdata knowledge graph.
This “office hours” event was scheduled to give participants an opportunity to explore their Wikidata items and to enrich them with more organization information, such as social media accounts and holders of leadership positions.
The office hour is open to “drop-ins”. Anyone is welcome.
If you don’t already have a Wikidata or Wikipedia account, you should create an account. Your username should not be related to your organization. Even though Wikidata is an important part of an organization’s digital discoverability strategy (see this post), it is not a promotional space.
